Sunrise presents a new abstract at World Sleep Congress 2022

We were happy to present a new peer-reviewed publication to the scientific community during this major event, taking place in Rome, March 11-16, 2022.

World Sleep 2022 is a global scientific congress that brings the best of sleep medicine and research together during 6 days of exhibition (scientific sessions and networking).

We were proud to do a 10min oral presentation about the following topic "Mandibular movements are a reliable noninvasive alternative to esophageal pressure for measuring respiratory effort in patients with sleep apnea syndrome”. This study demonstrated the reliability of mandibular movements as a surrogate of the esophageal pressure gold-standard signal for measuring respiratory effort associated with obstructive, central or mixed apneas and/or hypopneas during sleep.

Dr. Jean-Benoît Martinot also presented a poster for the abstract “Phenotypes in obstructive sleep apnea: new promises with a home-based digital medicine solution”. This poster gave the opportunity to share more about the researches done and answer the questions from the audience.
